Here’s a list of the Best parks in Dubai. Check them out! 1- Burj Park An excellent location to get the glimpse of Dubai fountains and the ever-charming Burj Khalifa! The park is decorated with special cube lights making it necessary to visit it at night. This park is open 24 hours for the public. The park also hosts events such as product launches, fashion shows, concerts and much more. Which makes it the most glamorous park on our list of the Best Parks in Dubai. 2- Dubai Creek park One of the oldest yet the coolest place to go on your weekends. The park is as big as about 90 hectares of land! You can rent bikes to ride along and enjoy the greenery for AED20-30. If you are too lazy to ride, just hop on the small sized trains and relax as it takes it around the park. You can also bring along food to do some barbeque at the grills. If aren’t up for all this then head to the Dubai Dolphinarium or children’s city with your little ones. The Children’s city is designed for children from 2 up to 15 years of age and the entry fee is AED15 to AED20. You’ll find a planetarium, theatre and workshops in the building. For older kids and adults you could take a ride on the cable car which runs about 2km only for AED25. 3- Zabeel Park Another great park is at the northeast of World Trade Centre to take a stroll and breathe in some fresh air. This park is loaded with facilities which is the main reason why families should take some out in their weekend for this particular park. To begin with, it has a pedestrian bridge crossing over Sheik Zayed road. This park also provides a covered barbeque area. They also have bicycle tracks, jogging tracks and a man made lake. The lake offers you a pleasant ride in itself with Dubai’s beautiful skyline view for a bargain price of AED40. There are a couple of water fountains that enhance the beauty of the environment. For the kids, there’s a children’s entertainment centre, play zone and a cricket pitch. And not to forget the maze where kids can have some run-around time losing and finding their way! This park is the greenest area in Dubai if not the only one. Zabeel Park is one of the most popular on our list of Best Parks in Dubai. They have a huge car park area though it may be close to being full on the weekends with nice weather. But you would still find a parking in not a very long search. FYI: Pets are not allowed. 4- Aventura Park Head to this park to discover your adventure side. The highlight activities of this park are zip-lining, ropes climbing and a Tarzan Swing. Yes! That’s right! Tarzan Swing! If you think you are brave and can tackle 25-metre jump then take this challenge. You can be sure that the park is safe and has excellent standards. 5- Mushrif park Mushrif park which could also be your choice of destination if you just want to stroll under shady trees or take your kids for some cycling, electronic games or sports playground. They have basketball, volleyball and handball playgrounds. We aren’t done with that! You will also find barbeque and pool services, train ride, camel and horse riding. You can immerse yourself in a traditional Bedouin lifestyle while you enjoy the park away from the hustle-bustle of the main city. It would be good to know that this park is about 35 years old! The park has a theatre which can accommodate 500 people at a time. There are concerts held mostly during the public holidays or other special occasions. While walking through the park do not be surprised to find different types of bird species and cute little rabbits! Beautifully sculpted rock gardens with water streams running through is a sight you cannot miss! Don’t forget to take your kids to the little petting zoo where they can take riding lessons. 6- Safa Park Bordered along the Al Wasl and A Hadiqa road, this park is one of the most popular parks among the Dubaians. The park has 3 lakes, green lawn and plenty of trees and bushes. A perfect green spot in Dubai! There are sports pitches for tennis and football and also touring boats. The small boats that can accommodate 2 persons, cost AED30 and large boat up to 4 persons costs AED40 for 20 minutes. You can also rent a bicycle (prices differs according to type) or catch a train (AED2 per head). You will find many joggers and walkers in the park due to the panoramic skyline view. Children also have an area with small roads, traffic lights and road signs. Older kids can spend some time at the arcade games and other rides like bumper cars and the wheel. Picnic spot would be the barbeque areas and the green lawn of course. The park offers train ride, jogging track and bicycle tracks. FYI: There’s a small green area available inside the park for Ladies and Children only. AND Tuesdays – Ladies and children only Timings: Sun- Wed : 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
