You will not find alcohol for purchase in the shops. However, visitors to Dubai can bring in the following goods free of duty. Gifts with a value of not more than AED 3,000 or 400 cigarettes OR 500g of tobacco OR 50 cigars. Up to 4 litres of alcohol OR 48 cans of beer (each not exceeding 355 ml).
5- Public display of affection: public display It is not well-tolerated by Dubai to show affection in the public. Holding hands for married couples is fine. Sex outside marriage is illegal and sharing a room will land you in Dubai Police cell. Dancing is allowed but only in licensed clubs or at home. People may get warnings for this so it is one of the important things to know about Dubai before visiting.
