The Dubai Tram (previously the Al Sufouh Tram) system was designed to be an integral part of the Dubai transport network, linking the Dubai Metro and the Palm Monorail and running along Al Sufouh Road and Jumeirah Beach Road from Mall of the Emirates at one end to the Dubai Marina.
The NOL card is an electronic smart card that enables you to pay for the use of various RTA transport modes in Dubai with a single card. To travel by the Dubai Bus you will require a Nol card.
There are 11 stations and the tram has a fixed fare of AED 3 per trip regardless of the distance travelled, making it one of the cheapest fares for trams, compared to other cities. The fare for passengers using the Red Nol Ticket will be AED 4 (USD $1.09) per ride.
You can plan your journey by using the RTA's journey planner here.
