1. Sheikh Zayed Bridge
Arch bridge in Abu Dhabi, Named after the country’s principal architect and former president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Curved design arches evoke undulating sand dunes of the desert.
The bridge features besides its striking architecture a dynamic lighting design that is based on subtle colors that flow across the bridge’s spine, symbolizing the connecting nature of the bridge and the energy that the capital city Abu Dhabi radiates.

2. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center
The beautiful Mosque is completely clad in marble and also features intricate Islamic decoration and carvings as well as extensive landscaping works. The mosque design has different artistic style taken from all over the world. The outside marble is from Greece, interior marbles are from China, Italy, and Morocco.
But unlike other mosques all over the world, what makes this mosque unique is that it is not off-limits to non-Muslims. In fact, they are open to anyone wanting to know more about Islam, or simply want to see what’s inside a mosque. However, there are rules. Ladies have to wear an abaya black robe and headdress provided at the entrance and slippers/shoes are not allowed inside.

General visiting hours are from Saturday-Thursday 9am to 10pm.
Kindly note that The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is closed for tourism activities (and open for worship) on Friday mornings, and reopens after 4:30 p.m. for visitors.
Visiting Hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan
The visiting hours during the month of Ramadan are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., from Saturday to Thursday. (Last admission at 1:30 pm).
General tours during the holy month of Ramadan start at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The tour duration is 45 – 60 minutes.
The Mosque does not open its doors for visitors on Fridays during the holy month of Ramadan.
