1. Sheikh Zayed Bridge

Arch bridge in Abu Dhabi, Named after the country’s principal architect and former president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Curved design arches evoke undulating sand dunes of the desert.

The bridge features besides its striking architecture a dynamic lighting design that is based on subtle colors that flow across the bridge’s spine, symbolizing the connecting nature of the bridge and the energy that the capital city Abu Dhabi radiates.

2. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center

The beautiful Mosque is completely clad in marble and also features intricate Islamic decoration and carvings as well as extensive landscaping works. The mosque design has different artistic style taken from all over the world. The outside marble is from Greece, interior marbles are from China, Italy, and Morocco.

But unlike other mosques all over the world, what makes this mosque unique is that it is not off-limits to non-Muslims. In fact, they are open to anyone wanting to know more about Islam, or simply want to see what’s inside a mosque. However, there are rules. Ladies have to wear an abaya black robe and headdress provided at the entrance and slippers/shoes are not allowed inside.

General visiting hours are from Saturday-Thursday 9am to 10pm.

Kindly note that The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is closed for tourism activities (and open for worship) on Friday mornings, and reopens after 4:30 p.m. for visitors.

Visiting Hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan

The visiting hours during the month of Ramadan are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., from Saturday to Thursday. (Last admission at 1:30 pm).
General tours during the holy month of Ramadan start at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The tour duration is 45 – 60 minutes.
The Mosque does not open its doors for visitors on Fridays during the holy month of Ramadan.


3. Dubai Water Canal Boardwalk

Dubai Water Canal is one of the Free sightseeing places in Dubai which is worth every moment, be flanked by several lifestyles and leisure developments, including hotels, restaurants and retail options. There is also a mechanical waterfall, where the Canal meets the Sheikh Zayed Road bridge. This motion-operated water wonder pumps water through the bridge in a constant flow, visible from the promenade, and can be switched off when a sensor detects a boat nearby.

4. Al Ain Classic Car Museum

Al Ain Classic Car Museum set in a tourist park in former Royal Grounds in Al Ain, alongside other museums and leisure facilities, is a little-known old car display packed with exquisite gems and oddball delights.

5. Al Mamzar Park

Al Mamzar Park is home to beautiful beaches and acres of green fields, making it one of Dubai’s hidden gems. The beach park with cabin rentals, swimming pools, restaurants, children’s games and bicycle hire.

Cost: AED 5 per person (free of charge for people with special needs and kids below 2 years.

6. Abra

Abra is a traditional boat made of wood a gateway to the true culture of Dubai it is the most popular Free sightseeing places in Dubai. Abras are used to ferry people across the Dubai Creek in Dubai, if you want a personalized cruise it’s also possible to charter an abra by the hour. No booking is required. Just turn up at any station and speak to a driver.
Location: Bur Dubai
Cost: 1 dirham
Timing: 5am to 12am

7.  Jebel Hafeet

The Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road is one of the greatest driving roads in the world.
Jebel Hafeet was a well-known landmark throughout the area’s history and is a contemporary tourist attraction. The mountain is composed of many distortions of individual layers of rock rich in fossils of plankton, while at the foot of the mountain it’s possible to find various marine fossils such as coral or crabs.
