GRAND MOSQUE The Grand Mosque is a mosque in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is located between the textile souk and the Dubai Museum close to a small stream in the Bur Dubai area, just south of the Hindu Temple. Originally built in 1900, demolished and built again in 1960, it then underwent a further rebuilding in 1998 (the present one). It now holds up to 1,200 worshippers. Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the mosque, except the minaret from where photography is permitted. The mosque is the hub of Dubai's religious and cultural life

His final resting place is located on the grounds beside the same mosque. The mosque was constructed from 1996 to 2007. It is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates

Shiva and krishna mandir Sri Siva Krishna Temple is a temple for the god Shiva who is the presiding Deity. The temple also has many other deities. Sri Siva Krishna Temple is located west of the Dubai Creek in the area of Bur Dubai. The temple is run in conjunction with the Indian consulate in Dubai; the temple also performs marriage ceremonies between Hindus. However, registration of Hindu marriages cannot be performed in the United Arab Emirates. The upper floor of the Shiva temple formerly also housed a Gurudwara; the Gurudwara has now moved to new premises near Jebel Ali.


JUMEIRAH MOSQUE

Built in the medieval Fatimid tradition with the interior decorated with elaborate Arabic calligraphy. It is one of few mosques in the city open for visits by non-Muslims, the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, conducts special tours for non-Muslims to help promote understanding of Islam. Located on Jumeirah Road, the mosque is an especially great place to visit in the evening when it's dramatically illuminated by floodlights

 gurunanak darbar sikh templeThe largest Gurdwara of Gulf region has been opened for public in Dubai. Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar has been constructed at a cost of $20 million. Though Dubai has 50,000 Sikhs staying there, it had no gurdwara so far.

Vice-president and prime minister of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum, had granted 25,400 sq feet land for the Gurdwara in Jebel Ali area.

 st. mary's catholic churchSt. Mary's Catholic Church, Dubai is a church founded by Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the U.A.E. In 1966 he donated land to build the church. Rev. Fr. Eusebius Daveri and his team pioneered this project. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum inaugurated St. Mary's Catholic Church on 7 April 1967.

Currently in this place there is a new church that has been designed to accommodate more than 1700 worshipers at each service, under the guidance of Rev. Bishop Paul Hinder, Rev. Fr. Daniel Cerofolini OFM. Cap, Fr. Michael Cardoz and their team, who pioneered this project. This church was inaugurated on 3 November 1989. Later the Jebel Ali Church was built to accommodate the newer areas of Dubai.[2] The current Parish priest is Rev. Fr. Tomasito B. Veneracion.
